Greetings, Mr. Felder.

Your blog entries and your letters to the editor would be much more valuable and salient if you made your points more clearly. I often have difficulty grasping your point when you choose to omit punctuation and to use unorthodox sentence structure.

May I suggest two books? Both are enjoyable reads and are great help in the never ending effort to perfect one's writing. "Elements of Style" is a succinct summary of the rules of grammar, and an excellent primer on structuring an argument. "Eats Shoots and Leaves" is a very funny primer covering the most common mistakes in written and verbal communication. It explains why they're wrong; when they commonly occur, and; it provides simple-to-remember rules that makes them easier to avoid.

Continued good luck to you.
